Cadmium Replacement and Regulatory Development
Due to its corrosion protection properties, cadmium remains technically indispensable for certain applications. At the same time, it is subject to strict regulatory requirements.
Aero-Coating therefore follows a clear approach:

Recommend alternatives where they are technically suitable and approved

IVD Aluminum
Metallic cadmium replacement per MIL-DTL-83488, EN 6118, and AMS 2427.
Resin Based Coating (RBC)
Functional protective systems based on resin per EN 4474/EN 4473 and NAS 4006.
